Why your website is slow (and how to fix it)

Why is your website running slow and how can you fix it right now?

It's almost always the same thing: giant uncompressed photos, overloaded templates, or a cheap server. And mind you, Google measures that speed and uses it to decide whether to show you to users or not.

A restaurant's website took almost ten seconds to load on mobile because of uncompressed photos. When they optimized them, the load time dropped to two seconds and reservations went up.

The fix starts for free: run your website through Google's PageSpeed Insights and it will tell you exactly what's slowing it down. If it takes more than three seconds, it needs a fix.
